Disposal of (old) electrical equipment
In accordance with the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, we would like to inform you of the following:
The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that you must dispose of the old device separately from unsorted municipal waste - especially household waste.
Private end users must separate old batteries, accumulators that are not enclosed by the device and lamps that can be removed from the old device without destroying them before handing them in at a collection point. In this way, everyone makes a contribution to sustainable and professional disposal.
Private households can sell old electrical and electronic equipment free of charge to distributors with a sales area for electrical and electronic equipment of at least 400 square meters and food distributors with a total sales area of at least 800 square meters who offer electrical and electronic equipment several times a calendar year or permanently and on the market provide, return. When selling a new electrical or electronic device to an end user, distributors must take back the end user's old device of the same type of device, which essentially fulfills the same functions as the new device, free of charge at the point of sale or in the immediate vicinity. Even without purchasing an electrical or electronic device, these distributors must, at the request of the end user, take back up to three old devices per type of device that are no larger than 25 centimeters in any external dimension free of charge in the retail store or in the immediate vicinity. In the case of sales using long-distance means of communication, all storage and shipping areas are deemed to be the sales areas of the distributor.
So if you buy a new electrical and electronic device from us, you can also return an old device to us free of charge. Please note that it must belong to the same type of device and essentially have the same functions as the old device. Even if you do not purchase a new electrical and electronic device from us, you can return an old device to us. The prerequisite is that it is not larger than 25 centimeters in any external dimension. Note that we only take back three old devices per device type.
If you would like to make use of these options, we have a responsible office in our company, MAG-Eubama GmbH & Co. KG, Saline 14, 78628 Rottweil, Germany. You can hand in your above-mentioned old device to us personally during our opening hours, or send it to us by post (delivery on site or mailing). When transporting, please note that if the goods are dangerous goods or components of dangerous goods, they must be packed/protected accordingly.
Users other than private households can return old devices to us, MAG-Eubama GmbH & Co. KG, Saline 14, 78628 Rottweil, Germany, as mentioned above. We dispose of the old devices. However, we only bear the costs of disposal if it is a non-historic old device.”
