MAG-TAC® LED rechargeable

The MAG-TAC® with rechargeable battery is equipped with a high-quality LED, powered by a LiFePo4 battery and available in two different versions, with head-crown (tactical) and head-plain.

The screw connections/assembled body components are equipped with a high-quality O-ring rubber seal and thus ensure splash protection (IPX4).

Both versions have a tactical handle, which makes them very comfortable to hold and the tail cap switch allows you to easily and conveniently switch the flashlight on and off. Various modes can be accessed via quick click:

• 1x click = momentary on
• 2x click = full power (max. performance)
• 3x click = low mode (energy saving mode)
• 4x click = flash/strobe 
• 5x click = off

The precision-made housing made of high-strength aluminum alloy is synonymous with quality and robustness. The flashlight body is anodized both inside and out, therefore offering better corrosion resistance and durability.

The flashlight is charged using the patented 360° charging ring by inserting the flashlight into the designated charging station. The 360° charging ring allows for worry-free charging as there is no need to pay attention to how the flashlight was placed in the station, there is only one option, which is very pleasant and easy for the user. The charging cradle can also be easily installed in the car in the so-called Place in cup holders and is operated via a mini-USB cable. The integrated light, which reports the charging status, shows whether it is currently being charged quickly, is just being topped up, is fully charged or even if there is a malfunction etc.

The included LiFePo4 battery enables fast charging, so that approx. 80% is charged in 30 minutes. The battery is fully charged in around 2.5 hours.

As an additional accessory, a robust pocket clip is supplied with which the MAG-TAC® can be easily attached to a shirt, trousers or jacket, etc.

Periodically (about monthly) remove the battery from the flashlight and visually inspect it for signs of gas or chemical leakage. If the flashlight with this battery is not going to be used for a long time, it is recommended that the battery be removed from the flashlight. Charge the battery periodically to avoid over-discharge. Over-discharged batteries cannot be recharged.

Never look directly into the beam of a flashlight when it is on, and never shine the flashlight directly at another person's face, as this may cause vision damage.
• Batteries can burst or explode if thrown into a fire or exposed to excessive heat. To avoid injury, batteries must never be exposed to excessive heat.
• Never short-circuit a battery by connecting the terminals to metal objects. This may result in an explosion, burns, other injuries, or fire.
• Under no circumstances should you attempt to disassemble or repair the power adapter or charger module, as this could result in electric shock. Always contact an official Mag service center for repairs. • Never modify the plug on the power adapter or charger module. If the plug does not fit into the existing socket, have a suitable socket installed by a professional. Using unauthorized or unsuitable sockets could result in electric shock.

Batteries can leak harmful chemicals that may damage skin, clothing, or the inside of the flashlight. To avoid injury, never allow chemicals leaking from a battery to come into contact with skin or eyes.
• Do not heat the battery or attempt to disassemble it, as this may cause the corrosive electrolyte solution to leak. If the electrolyte solution comes into contact with your skin, wash the affected area thoroughly immediately and seek medical attention.
• Always keep the power adapter and charging module away from liquids, and do not charge the device outdoors as the charging module is not waterproof. Rainwater or other liquids may cause fire or electric shock.

Never store or transport flammable liquids or gases or explosives in the same room as the flashlight or its accessories, as possible sparks could cause a fire or explosion. •Never allow the battery terminals to come into contact with metal objects. Always transport the battery removed from the flashlight in a plastic bag or cover the terminals with insulation tape.
• Do not use or operate the flashlight near flammable materials.
• Do not charge the battery in gas-tight rooms, as under certain conditions hydrogen gas may escape, which can explode at certain concentrations and pressures.
• Do not use the flashlight without the front cap and with an exposed LED switched on. This could cause injury or damage to heat-sensitive materials, such as metal. B. Plastics, rubber, textiles, etc.

Please take the following precautions to reduce the risk of damage to your flashlight: • Always make sure that the power cord is routed in such a way that nobody can trip over it or step on it and that it is not exposed to any other possible damage or mechanical stress.
• Never pull the power cord to unplug the power cord from the socket, pull directly on the power cord to avoid damaging the cord.
• Always unplug the power adapter or charging module from the power supply when not in use. • Do not use non-rechargeable batteries in your rechargeable flashlight.
• Use only MAG® rechargeable batteries (part number 118-000-414) or equivalent.
• Always insert the battery with the positive (+) terminal facing the head of the flashlight and the negative (-) terminal facing the end cap. • If the battery is not to be used for a long period of time, remove it and store it separately from the flashlight.
• Carefully follow the steps in the “Inspection and Maintenance” section of this manual. • Never attempt to disassemble the flashlight, its components or accessories. Always contact an authorized Mag Service Center for repairs and servicing.
• Use only genuine MAG-TAC® replacement parts and accessories. Never connect the flashlight to an additional product not expressly approved by Mag Instrument, Inc. Use of unauthorized accessories may damage the flashlight and void the warranty. In addition, use of incompatible products may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
• Exposing the flashlight and accessories to excessive temperatures above 60 ̊C (140 ̊F) may cause heat damage to plastic parts, electronic components, and the battery.
• Never store this flashlight at temperatures below – 20 ̊C (– 4 ̊F). This may damage the flashlight's electronic components.
• Stop using immediately if you notice any changes to the battery (e.g. discoloration or deformation).
• Charge the battery at temperatures between 0 °C and 45 °C (32 ̊F and 113 °F) to avoid the release of hazardous gases from the battery cells and possible reduction in battery capacity.
• Never use an AC adapter or charging module if the cord or plug is damaged or worn. Using damaged cords or plugs may result in electric shock, burns, or fire. Contact an authorized Mag service center to replace the part. • Always unplug the power adapter or charging module before cleaning to avoid electric shock.

This product is not intended or recommended for use by children.
• Never let children play with or handle the flashlight, battery or charging module as they could injure themselves or others.
• Keep accessories and components away from small children. Small parts in particular can be easily swallowed and cause choking.
